Tom Corsello
Please note - Former platoon member and dog handler Tom Corsello passed away November 18, 2009. He is survived by his son Tom Jr. and daughter Elisha. Tommy was an original scout dog handler of the 47th Scout Dog Platoon and served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969. His dog was "Jeff." Tommy is buried in the VA cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Brother, we honor your service ... rest in peace ... we all miss you.

not sure what to say but this is Joe's wife Sally White and Joe passed away real early Saturday morning I am at a great loss but really appreciated Reading this e-mail and the several others he is getting from supporters he pushed so hard for the cause and wanted it sooooooo bad to become reality as a official day almost like veterans day I am going to send a mass e-mail from his list if I can figure out how and will pray someone will pick it up and still run with it so to say to make this happen but at least still try to celebrate it in some way on March 13th he truly belived in what he was doing and it was his giving back to the dogs which are heroes along with the ones who fight so hard for our American country GOD BLESS each and everyone pleaseeeee do not forget K9 VETERANS DAY
