7/21/03 Tumble's "ultralight" journal consists of 4"x11" sheets of artist tracing paper. She estimated one sheet a day with a couple extra in each re-supply box. For a pen she used a PaperMate pen refill. Using the refill she rolled each sheet into a scroll and secured it with a small piece of tape. Tumble stored the pen inside whichever scroll she was working on. She numbered and dated each scroll and also penned the number on the outside to keep them in order. Tumble stored scrolls and pen in a ZipLock bag with a 5"x5" piece of cardboard cut from a cereal box that served as something hard to lean on when she wrote.
