7/21/03 We picked out the highest, flattest, root-free, and rock-free spot we could find near Seth Warner Shelter. Tumble prepares to lay down the ground sheet and in anticipation of rain we pitched our tent with the rain fly. And did it ever rain. Thunder, lightning, and torrential downpours flooded the woods again and again as our tiny tent withstood the onslaught.
