8/23/03 It was warm in the tent, but cold outside and very, very breezy which made it feel even colder. What a change from yesterday. If we didn't know better we'd start to take these weather shifts personally. The Cowles Cove "privy" is uniquely al fresco and we each used it while the other stood guard at the spur trail junction. It was a neat experience. We took down the tent, ate breakfast, packed our packs, and got on the trail by 8am.
