8/23/03 A few words here about using the dundo (seen hanging on a tree behind Tumble). Tumble made it out of a 2.5 gallon water carrier. Rough puts about 2 liters of filtered water into it and we use it for backup cooking water, washing up, brushing, etc. Each morning he pours the icy water into Tumble's hands so she can "wash" her face. Of course soap is a no-no in the woods except at wash pits which aren't always available. Any water left in the dundo is used to backwash the water filter.
