7/23/03 Unfortunately and again because of the weather we didn't have any views and couldn't even see the Bennington Monument below. Instead we enjoyed the sign post noting the miles to distant places: between the MA-VT border and Canada and between Springer Mountain and Katahdin, as well as other checkpoints on the LT and AT.
