8/23/03 We climbed down Burnt Rock which, like all steep downs, was tricky. We reached a steep section of the trail called Ladder Ravine and climbed down with our packs on. Rough showed Tumble where Marty had to climb down the ledges during last year's section hike to find a place to help his Labrador BJ because he couldn't come down the ladder.
