8/15/03 We hiked down the sharp drop to Cooley Glen Shelter. We were looking at prospective tent sites when Raven and Skittle, father and recent college graduate daughter, joined us. We made a quick decision to use the bug tent in the shelter. Then came Platinum and Many Names, two high school friends from Stowe. Rough had to hike 2 tenths of a mile down the Cooley Glen Trail and then go off trail to find a usable water source.
