8/24/03 We finally arrived at the new Bamforth Ridge Shelter, selected a platform and Tumble put up our tent. Getting our tent up on these platforms is no easy task, owing to the different sizes and the need to stake beyond the platform. Tumble did an outstanding job, but would always prefer tenting on the ground. Rough was very appreciative of her effort and skill. Once we got the tent up we went back up to the shelter to hopefully await other stove-bearing hikers who might be willing to share.
