7/25/03 We spent this part of the day hiking above 2,000 feet among balsam firs and slogging over rocks and around mud pits. A couple named Zap Man and Sparky passed us. When we got here we enjoyed a rare break in the clouds. Rumbling sounds of another storm heading our way hurried us on.
