7/26/03 Everyone except Palladin left camp before us, but not because we were any more efficient, but because we decided to skip breakfast to get a head start on the long miles ahead of us. We ate Alpine Aire wild rice and fruit snacks -- yummy -- and were on the trail by 7:30am, our earliest start yet. The early morning air was cool and the sunlight sparkled on the ferns that crowded the trail. We couldn't resist a picture.
