7/29/03 We climbed the tower and for the first time had unlimited views in all directions. Then Tumble took a power-nap on the ground in the sunshine with her feet propped on her pack. We were so optimistic and feeling so good that Rough called the Inn at the Long Trail from the warming hut, using the phone inside, and moved our reservation up one day earlier.
