8/28/03 At the Mansfield Welcome Center the GMC caretaker greeted us with the news there was frost on Mansfield last night. After what we'd been through going up the Forehead we asked if we should take the Profanity Trail bypass off the Chin. She thought that since we made it up the Forehead we probably wouldn't need to take the bypass, but she warned us to be down before expected afternoon showers arrived. So, off we went at 11:30am determined to miss the storms.
