8/28/03 We traversed the 1.5 miles to the Chin and we were amazed by the success of re-vegetation in the area. It is beautiful. No longer barren rock, a rainbow of tiny plants blanket the slopes on either side of the path. It's lovely to behold. It took our breath away. One of the prices we had to pay for these lovely fields of Arctic vegetation was traversing more puncheons.
