8/31/03 After taking tons of pictures we walked down the ski trail and descended steeply into the woods. Marty, Michael, and BJ hiked ahead, but we caught up to them at Whiteface Shelter where they stopped for lunch. Marty went to filter water and we took off to get a head start up the half-mile of rocky ascent ahead.
