8/31/03 We waited for Marty and BJ at the summit of Whiteface and wondered how he got up some of the more difficult places where we had to help each other. When he finally joined us he was exhausted and told us about a bad slip that hurt his knee. We all caught our breath and then Marty took off to try to catch Michael.
