8/31/03 We got to the Long Trail Tavern (pictured, right) and started calling around for a room. We enjoyed French fries, onion rings, and drinks while we called. We were able to get rooms in the Deer Run Motor Inn in Jeffersonville and then started working on how to get there. We went out to the road to hitch, but the bartender called us back saying the lady from Deer Run would pick us up. We checked into room 23 and Marty and BJ checked into room 37. We showered and popped into bed.
