9/2/03 We hiked through some very pretty woods -- lots of birches and ferns -- and climbed up to Prospect Rock. It was a nice walk and helped take our minds off our heavy packs. Tumble had to stop several times to re-adjust her load because it was cutting off the circulation to her arms.
