9/3/03 We hiked down to Neighborhood Road on the way to Corliss Camp. We were making good time down a woods road when Tumble suddenly looked up and saw a blaze off in the woods. We almost missed the turn off the road. A close call. We finally made it to Corliss Camp. With rain in the forecast (is this a broken record?) we decided to set up the bug net in the shelter. Neither of us wanted to add the weight of wet gear to our packs tomorrow.
