8/7/03 Time out for a coffee break while our socks dried. Rough could practically hear the aching in his bones. He's wishing his bare feet were in "camp shoes" instead of soggy hiking boots. Alas, his fantasies of snuggling by a fire with a warm cup of coffee and gazing at the stars have long since died. However, on the bright side, as we always say, "Any day spent hiking is a day well spent."
