9/4/03 The temperature dropped and as we sat there it began to rain. Tumble dashed back to the tent in the rain because she was concerned about not having faced it in the correct direction for rain protection. Tumble was not surprised to see that mud had splashed up under the rain fly and could only hope it hadn't penetrated to her sleeping bag inside. Tumble guyed out the fly a little better and hoped for the best. Off to bed we went in the rain and cold.
