7/16/03 We're figuring on eight re-supply drops for 39 trail days. We'll get our first small box from a friend after two days on the trail, and have one re-supply box waiting for us when we get off the trail for a few days at App Gap near our home.The other six we'll pick up at Route 9, Johnny Seesaw's Lodge in Manchester/Peru, Inn at Long Trail at Sherburne Pass, Sweet Onion Inn in Hancock, Jonesville Post Office, and Johnson Post Office. Besides meals and fuel canisters our re-supply boxes will include some personal items: toiletries, insect repellant, matches, journal paper, TP, tissues, and address labels to send any cast-offs home in the boxes.
